Email marketing is still one of the highest-return channels a business can have. It is also one of the easiest to get wrong. A good email goes to the right person, at the right time, with a reason to act. Most business email does none of those things. It sits alongside my content marketing work, because email is where content gets put to use.
What email marketing covers
- List building and hygiene: a list of people who actually want to hear from you, kept clean
- Automation and flows: welcome sequences, follow-ups and reminders that run on their own
- Campaign strategy: regular sends that fit a plan, not random blasts
- Copy and design: emails people open, read and act on
- Deliverability: landing in the inbox, not the spam folder
- Reporting: opens, clicks and revenue, not vanity numbers
Email is not a broadcast channel. It is a relationship tool. The work is about getting the right message to the right list, then measuring what happens next.

How I work
Start with the list
An email program is only as good as the list behind it. If the list is old, bought or unengaged, nothing else will work. I start by looking at who you have, how they got there and whether they still want to hear from you.
Set up the foundations
The technical setup comes next: a proper email platform, signup forms, confirmed opt-in, and tracking that shows what actually happens after a send.
Build the flows
Automation does the heavy lifting. Welcome sequences for new subscribers, follow-ups for people who went quiet, reminders for abandoned carts. These run in the background and compound over time.
Write and send
Then the regular campaigns. Each send has one job and one clear call to action. No walls of text, no shouting, no sending for the sake of it.
Measure and refine
Every send teaches you something. Open rates, click rates, replies and unsubscribes all tell a story. I read that story and adjust the next send.
Deliverability matters
An email that lands in spam is an email that was never sent. Authentication, sending reputation and list hygiene are part of the job from day one, not an afterthought.
Not just another newsletter
Email only works when it earns the inbox. The goal is a channel your customers look forward to, not one they ignore or delete. That takes discipline, and that is the part most businesses skip.

Why work with me
- One channel, done properly: email is treated as its own discipline, not an add-on to everything else
- Honest reporting: opens and clicks matter, but revenue is the number that counts
- No junk mail: every send has to earn its place in the inbox
