Most Google Ads accounts leak money without anyone noticing. The waste is usually not obvious: broad keywords, missing negatives, broken tracking and landing pages that do not match the ad. A Google Ads audit finds exactly where your budget is going and what is coming back. It is the first step in my Google Ads management.
What a Google Ads audit covers
- Account structure: campaigns and ad groups built the way Google rewards
- Keyword review: the terms worth paying for and the ones burning budget
- Negative keywords: stopping your ads showing for searches that never convert
- Tracking check: conversions verified before anything else
- Landing page review: because wrong-page traffic is paid for twice
- Spend analysis: where the money went and what came back
An audit looks at the whole account, not just the numbers on the surface. It finds where money is leaking, where the structure is wrong and what to fix first.
What I do
Check the tracking first
If conversion tracking is broken, every other number is meaningless. The audit starts there: are the right actions being recorded, and do the numbers match reality.
Review the structure
A well-structured account separates campaigns by goal and ad groups by intent. A badly structured one spends on overlap and cannibalisation. I map out which you have.
Go through the keywords
The search terms report is where the waste hides. Broad terms, expensive clicks with no return, and searches you never intended to show for. Each one gets flagged.
Check the negatives
Negative keywords are the cheapest money a Google Ads account can save. I look for the searches you are paying for that will never become customers.
Review the landing pages
An ad is only as good as the page it lands on. If the page does not match the ad or the offer, you are paying for clicks that go nowhere.
Analyse the spend
Where has the money actually gone, and what came back. Cost per conversion, wasted spend by campaign, and the difference between what you pay and what you earn.
Deliver a fix list
The audit ends with a plain-English list: what is working, what is leaking, what to fix first and what the payoff looks like. You can act on it yourself or hand it to me.

Why work with me
- Independent eyes: I have no incentive to keep a bad account running
- Tracking first: the numbers get verified before anything else
- Plain-English findings: a fix list you can act on, no jargon
